Kirean is a local lad, haling from Haslingon he too began his professional life with Richard and I at Rookery Hall.
Kirean progressed through the kitchen ranks at various local venues including the Roebuck, knutsford and the Oddfellows, Chester before heading up the kitchen at the Cheshire Cat, Nantwich, at which point he threw caution to the wind, uped sticks and headed for Cyprus where he spent the last three years under Executive chef John Kouphoe at the prestiges Elae Estate.
He finally saw sense though and left the sun, sea and sand for the bright lights of Alsager to join Richard and I at the Mere.
He and his partner Kim have recentlky become parents with the arrival of baby Noah. Kirean is a keen gym goer so when he's not piping cream he can usually be found pumping iron!
